I read every day. Maybe that's why my standards on quality and content are high. I don't know. Nonetheless, I expect the novels I read to be cohesive and edited. After reading through the end of chapter six, I had to put this book on hold. The story is fairly interesting but the end of the chapter really grated.
"She wanted to discount his words, to walk away and forget about him. But she couldn't. Nor did she want to."
she wanted to -> she couldn't -> she didn't want to
WHAT?
